EEOC Notice

  • It is unlawful to harass a person because of that person's sex. Harassment can include "sexual harassment" or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature. .
  • Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, however, and can include offensive remarks about a person's sex. For example, it is illegal to harass a woman by making offensive comments about women in general.
  • Both victim and the harasser can be either a woman or a man, and the victim and harasser can be the same sex.
  • Although the law doesn't prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment.
  • The harasser can be the victim's supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a client or member.
  • Catalyst Fitness affirms that it will not tolerate sexual harassment or harassment based on sex in any of its facilities. Thank you

Policy Statement

  • Catalyst Fitness seeks, enrolls and maintains memberships without regard to race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, sexual orientation or age.
  • It is further club policy that no circumstance or conduct undertaken by club personnel shall have the effect of discrimination on the basis of any of the aforementioned classifications.
  • All club members shall have full and equal access to the club facility.
  • All members with disabilities shall be entitled to reasonable accommodations for their physical and mental impairments.

Restroom and Locker Room Accessibility-
Transgender Equal Opportunity Policy

  • As set forth in Catalyst Fitness's Equal Opportunity Policy, all members shall have full and equal access to the club facility.
  • Consistent with this Policy, all members shall have access to the restroom and locker room facilities that correspond to the member's gender identity, regardless of the member's sex assigned at birth. For example, transgender women (who were born male but identify as female) are permitted to use the women's facilities, and vice versa for transgender men.
  • Each member should determine the most appropriate option for her/him/themself. Any member who has a need or desire for increased privacy, regardless of the reason, will be provided access to a single-person facility, when available. No member, however, shall be required to use such a facility.

  • We do not permit disrespectful conduct towards members, guests, employees or vendors, including but not limited to vulgar, profane, indecent, offensive, violent, hostile, aggressive, threatening, harassing, stalking, fraudulent, or other inappropriate conduct or language.

  • No Alcohol, Drugs, or Smoking: You cannot engage in any activity at Catalyst Fitness while under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol. Catalyst Fitness does not permit smoking, alcohol, or illegal drugs, including steroids, in any of its facilities.
  • No Weapons: No weapons of any kind are permitted in Catalyst Fitness facilities.
  • Photos/Filming: Taking photos or filming of others is not permitted, and under no circumstances is any photography or filming permitted within the Kids’ Club, locker room, or sauna areas.
  • Food & Beverages: Catalyst Fitness reserves the right to limit the consumption of food or beverages in workout areas.
  • Personal Training: No member may train another member for compensation. If Catalyst Fitness determines that such training occurs at a Catalyst Fitness facility, the trainer and/or trainee may lose their membership.
  • Outside Equipment: Catalyst Fitness reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the clubs.

  • Any activity or exercise resulting in pain, faintness, dizziness, or shortness of breath should be stopped immediately.
  • Any member who incurs an injury or becomes dizzy/ill while using the centers should immediately contact a Catalyst staff person for assistance.
  • A first aid kit is kept at the front desk for minor injuries. In cases requiring more extensive first aid, staff will contact the appropriate persons for assistance.
  • It is important that staff be notified of any cases of injury or illness so that proper procedures can be initiated.
  • In case of fire or alarm, always use caution and safely leave the building.

  • Catalyst Fitness facilities are provided for the private use of club members only and are not open to the public.
  • Any solicitation within any club is absolutely forbidden. This includes, for example: solicitation for profit, political purposes or any other reason; use of petitions; distributing or posting leaflets, notices or advertising anywhere in a club facility; or leaving multiple copies of leaflets or other papers in any club.

Violation of Rules

  • If any member violates any of the policies, Catalyst Fitness Gym Owners have the right to revoke memberships. A violation may also cause to terminate membership according to the terms of the membership agreement.

  • Gym bags are a safety issue and tripping hazard.
  • Bags are not allowed on the weight floor, turf, group X room or cardio area.
  • Please use locker rooms or cubbies to store your belongings.

Cardio Equipment

  • The cardio equipment is available on a “first come, first served” basis.
  • You may use the equipment for 30 min or less at a time during busy times.
  • Please wipe down the machines after your workouts using the wipes provided at the facility. It is the individual user’s responsibility to clean up cardio equipment for excessive sweating.
  • It is strongly recommended you bring a personal workout towel.

Cell Phone and Camera Use

  • Please be respectful and courteous to your fellow members when using your cell phone in the gym.
  • Limit usage when on equipment or in earshot of other members.
  • The use of cameras and other image capturing devices are strictly prohibited in all public areas of the facilities.

Lockers and Locker Rooms

  • Locker rooms, showers, and cubbies are available for use in each facility.
  • Please be sure to lock up all valuables and to remove all items upon leaving the gym.
  • Catalyst Fitness is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
  • Lockers are for day use only.
  • Locks will be cut off if left on the locker.
  • A short term lost and found is available.

Proper Attire

  • Proper workout attire (shorts, t-shirts, leggings, sweatpants, sweatshirts, sports bras) and closed toe athletic shoes should be worn at all times.
  • Jeans, work boots, and other non athletic attire are not permitted in fitness and exercise areas.
  • Clothing with inappropriate, vulgar words or graphics may not be worn.

  • Return equipment to its proper location
  • No chalk allowed
  • No deadlifting or Olympic lifting
  • Use lanes for forward movements only (lunges/sleds/sprints etc…)
  • Keep lanes free of equipment
  • Be conscious of other members’ space
  • No food or drink (except water)

Weight Lifting

  • Use weight collars and pins at all times for your safety and that of others.
  • For the courtesy of all Fitness Center members and for safety reasons, all lifters MUST re-rack their own dumbbells and weight plates after they have finished using them. Searching for sets of weights needed for your weight lifting program can be a hassle and this is easily avoided when all lifters re-rack their own weights. Furthermore, having weights spread throughout the centers poses obvious hazards.
  • Continued failure to abide by this Fitness Center policy may lead to the suspension or termination of your membership.
  • Do not drop the weights or lean them up against anything, and use extreme caution in mirrored areas.
  • If you move equipment, put it back where it belongs. Do not sit on equipment between sets. Allow others to work out (even if you are texting your buddy!)
  • We highly recommend a personal towel to wipe off the upholstery after your use.
